Bippy the Terrible was, in some ways, a very literal plot bunny that gnawed at my brain for a few months before I abruptly ran smack into life. Bippy was to be a storyline involving mostly Delia, as well as a few new faces (and one or two old ones). Alex's story would have ended with JACKLE, but Delia would always continue to make trouble for the world. It was just her nature. She was the sort of person who never learned her lesson; she was the girl building better mice when the whole rest of the world was setting out their best mousetraps. I wanted to write this story in order to find out what, exactly, would happen if she ever bit off more than she could chew... you know, when there was no one around to help her out. Alex was basically her safety net in the previous story, and with him absent from this one... well. Fun times would surely follow. |
